Clearstone Engineering provides cost-effective permitting and measurement services to industry, and has been developing new instruments and measurement techniques for meeting the challenge of new environmental regulations. Clearstone has also lead the development and demonstration of new approaches that can reduce operating costs by reducing emissions. We have conducted research studies for government agencies, such as Environment Canada and US EPA, and industry in support of GRI, GTI, PTAC, CGA and CAPP. Results from this research were later used to develop guidance documents for government and industry.
We offer a full range of regulatory support services including:
We maintain files of current federal and provincial environmental regulations and draw on our broad technical strengths and knowledge of government and industry concerns to expedite the permitting process.
Clearstone Engineering offers professional programming services for the development of Windows based software for environmental engineering, data management, and geographical information system (GIS) applications. We have developed our own extensive libraries of math, statistical, graphing, and thermodynamic objects, plus advanced simulation models of key emission sources. In addition, we maintain a selection of quality third-party software libraries. This allows us to quickly develop sophisticated, state-of-the-art computer applications at a low cost. Clearstone also has considerable expertise in information management and in transporting data between mainframe and PC database systems. The programming languages we support include C#, C/C++, Visual Basic, Access, and SQL Server.
